Education in USA:-

Education in the USA is classified into different

educational stages.In general, children join the public education system around at an age five or six.Children joined public school is graded as per year groups.Grades in U.S education system are identified using ordinal numbers.Children may begin schooling in Pre-kindergarten, kindergarten or first grade depending on their condition.

Preschool and pre-kindergarten:

       It is a  non-compulsory classroom-based early-childhood education.In elementary school itself, preschool education may be given.Children from the disadvantaged population may get a better education during Preschool and pre-kindergarten via a Head Start program, founded in 1965 and federally funded.In addition to a Head Start program, which offers limited seats, many community-based programs, non-profit organizations, faith communities, commercial enterprises,  and independent childcare providers offer preschool education.Preschool education may be general or may be having a special focus like arts education sports training, or foreign language learning, or religious education, or it may be providing a general education.

Primary education:

Primary Education in U.S includes kindergarten through sixth grade.In primary education, basic subjects are taught.The individual school districts or county school system determines the curriculum of public elementary education.

There are three stages of schooling in U.S education system:
1.Elementary School(5th/6th grade),
2.Middle school(6th/7th to 8th grade)
3.High School(9th-12th grades)

Those students, who completed high school study may get a chance to select to attend a college or university, where undergraduate degrees like Associate's Degrees or Bachelor's Degrees are offered.

After completion of 12th Grade, students may choose to study in community college or junior college, generally public funded colleges, where two year associate degrees are offered in common.

A limited number of bachelor's degrees are offered by some of the community colleges.Generally, these community colleges offer career certifications and part-time programs.Students of community college may choose to transfer to a four year college where they can pursue a bachelor degree.Both public or private colleges or universities may offer four year bachelor degrees.Some institutions like "City university of Newyork", was established, funded and operated by local governments of Newyork .Some other universities are there which are operated as state universities.Private institutions which are a wide variety in size, focus and operation are generally funded privately.
