Education.Higher Education and the General Organization for Technical Education and Vocational Training is also responsible
for Saudi Arabian Education System.The other authorities like the
Ministry of Defense and Aviation the Presidency of  the National
Guard and the Ministry of the Interior provide affiliates
and Ministry of Education guidelines are consistently
followed by the children with the education at all levels.
Education in Saudi Arabia is under the supervision of the Supreme Committee for Educational Policy, the highest authority in Saudi Arabian Education System, which was established in 1963.Public expenditure on Education in Saudi Arabia is 6.8% of GDP and public expenditure on education as a percentage of government spendings is 27.6% in 2004 as per database of World Bank.
As per World Bank Indicators/Ed stats, Education spendings in Saudi Arabia proportionately tripled when compared to overall spendings from 1970 to 2000.The education spendings are impacted by neither economic growth nor by oil price.
The Ministry of Education of Saudi Arabian Government has developed a ten-year plan(2004-2014) for the development of Saudi Arabian Education System by setting the following goals:
1. The kindergarten and 4-6 year children education to be considered as an independent in terms of its
    buildings and syllabi from the rest of the education stages.
2.Accommodation to be provided at various ages from 6-18 years in different stages of education.
3.Improving the intellectual awareness based on recognition of issues of the country by deepening the
   spirit of Loyalty and how proud to be as a citizen of the country.

advanced posts internationally both in the fields of mathematics and
sciences in various age categories by considering all aspects of International
tests standards.
5.Organizing the technical education of a girl.
6.The education system should be developed such that give support for students with special needs.
7.Different steps for the development and growth of personal educational and administrative training ministry.
8.The education system should be improved such that it suffices both internal and external.
9.The syllabi should be developed for male and female students based on Islamic values which lead
    to the personality development and their integration in society along with the achievement of scientific and thinking skills that results in self-education and lifelong learning.
.10.Improvement of quality of male and female teachers such that full use of human resources in the
      education sector.
11.Educational structure and school map are to be developed and updated respectively to meet next
     stage quantitative and qualitative changes.
12. Infrastructure of information and communication technology to be improved in such a way that
      provides employment in education and learning.
13.To eradicate illiteracy of male and female, adult education needs to be developed.
14.To develop the comprehensive administration of the ministry.
15.Social participation in education to be expanded.
16. Integrated systems for accountability to be established.
